Luke Air Force Base will be performing a full-scale active shooter exercise March 27, officials said.
The exercise will be restricted to Luke Air Force Base property, and as a result, may affect entry and exit procedures, as well as various customer service areas on the base.
Officials said there is no threat to the public or base population related to this routine procedure.
Military installations regularly perform these simulated events to ensure the base population is prepared if the real-world scenario were to occur.
