Lower Valley temperatures look to stick around

Welcome, mid-80s.

Fall is here and hot temperatures look to be in the rear-view mirror for Valley residents, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

This summer, the Valley saw record highs of 110-degree temps or higher for 55 consecutive days — beating the overall mark set in 2020, said Mark O’Malley, meteorologist from the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
