Lowell was born on May 29, 1928. He proudly served as sergeant in the United States Marine Corps on the USS Midway in the European Theater. After discharge, he married his high school sweetheart, Joan Shield of Waukesha and they had two sons, Jon and Todd. Lowell had several successful sales careers; including him and his brother, Al, starting a clothing store called Dorfs Menswear. After selling to his brother in 1974 he successfully mastered his next career in the insurance and investment business with Lutheran Mutual, Century Companies and CUNA Mutual among others in Wisconsin and Arizona. Lowell retired to Arizona in 1992 with his wife, Joan. An Arizona Celebration of Life will take place at 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 21st at Beardsley Part, located at 20011 N. 128th Avenue, Sun City West, AZ. Followed by a picnic lunch.
