Love is in the air at ProMusica concert

‘Dearly Beloved’ set for Sun City church
Since Valentine’s Day brings romance, this month’s ProMusica Arizona concert, "Dearly Beloved: A Lifetime of Love," is a journey of a couple’s love and marriage.
The concert starts at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25 at American Lutheran Church, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd.
The performance follows the evolution of a couple from courtship through their lifetime together with all its ups-and-downs -- the kids, the in-laws, the fights, along with the romance and adventure through the reading of letters and poems by actors Dan Meiller and Pat Drapac.
The readings will be surrounded and enhanced by ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra’s performance of songs by Eric Whitacre, Hector Berlioz, Paul Sjolund, and Broadway greats, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe.
Since its founding 15 years ago, ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra has brought live music to audiences in the North Phoenix and West Valley areas. With almost 100 multi-generational singers and instrumentalists, the group has performed nearly 150 times for over 122,000 people. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and is supported by the Arizona Commission on the Arts, which receives support from the State of Arizona and the National Endowment for the Arts.
