Louise Patricia Campbell

Louise Patricia Campbell, 92, passed away Sunday, September 10th, in Surprise, AZ. Pat, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Rock Island, IL.She was pre-deceased by her parents, John and Jessie Mangelsdorf, and her husband of 62 years, Richard Campbell. She is survived by sister Virginia Lemme of Surprise, sons Steven (Carol) of Overland Park, KS, and Richard (Bibianna) of Mercer Island, WA, along with six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Pat is remembered by all who knew and loved her for her warm friendliness and independent spirit. She loved nature and animals, especially the many horses she owned and rode in numerous shows and on trail rides. She shared this passion as a volunteer with 4H and The American Humane Society. An accomplished bridge player, she played competitively into her last year. Pat was also an active, lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, most recently Crown of Life in Sun City West.The family wishes to express its sincere thanks to the caregivers at Park Wood Assisted Living and Suncrest Hospice who provided aid and comfort in her final days.Private services will be held.
