Louis John Ludas

Louis John Ludas, 95, Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2017 surrounded by love and family.Lou was born in Hopelawn, New Jersey, and resided in Edison and Cherry Hill, New Jersey, prior to retiring to Sun City West, Arizona.Lou, a World War II veteran, was in the first wave of soldiers to land on Utah Beach, Normandy, France on June 6, 1944, D-day. He received a Purple Heart for his bravery. Papa Lou was loved by everyone who knew him for his warmth, strength of character, and engaging sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Chapinski Ludas, his two brothers, and three sisters. Lou is survived by his three children, and four granddaughters, who love him dearly and will miss him everyday, forever.A memorial service is being planned to honor Louis Ludas and celebrate his life.
