One lottery ticket buyer in Glendale ended 2024 on a high note, and the person who purchased a Powerball in Phoenix will be starting off 2025 in style once the winner is claimed.

A Triple Twist Jackpot ticket is worth $1.19 million to the person who purchased it for the Dec. 30 drawing at QuikTrip, 8045 N. 51st Ave. in Glendale, Arizona Lottery officials announced Thursday.

There was one $1 million Powerball winner sold for the Jan. 1 drawing at the Safeway, 520 W. Osborn Road, Phoenix.
