After schools abruptly closed in March 2020 because of the global coronavirus pandemic, many students reportedly fell by the wayside as districts locally and nationally noted students missing from the rosters online and in-person when classes resumed.
The Scottsdale Unified School District is no exception.
“Approximately 1% of our student population is not enrolled with us and not known by us to be attending another school. We continue to work on reducing this number through follow-up calls to families,” said Dr. Kimberly Guerin,
