Loslo: Sun City Mountain View delay is slap in the face

Posted

Thank you for your detailed article (“Pulling reins on Mountain View,” Sun City Independent, April 12, 2023) regarding halting of the Mountain View project — again!

Live theater and other performances of the arts are my favorite entertainment, but our “original” Sun City needs an actual comfortable, raised seating type of theater. Why is there yet another study being proposed?

For many years, boards and committees have studied the idea to death. The plans presented to our residents were brought forward from representatives of those boards, committees and all the clubs who would use new facilities and architects have begun their work.

But every time new board members are elected, they want to put a hold on the process. Do they understand how many talented and informed boards and committees have already done the work?

Please stop this nonsense and help the project move forward.
