Grammy-winner Lorde visits Gila River Arena for a Friday night concert on March 16. Grammy Award-winning multiplatinum artist Lorde will perform at Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 16.
She is touring in support of her sophomore album, “Melodrama.” The singer’s North American dates kicked off in March in Milwaukee before heading to 30 dates.
Lorde has been appearing on festival stages all season with performances at Coachella, Governors Ball and most recently, Bonnaroo.
In 2013, a 16-year-old Lorde asserted herself as a new voice with her full-length debut, “Pure Heroine.” The album would go triple-platinum, win two Grammy Awards, and spawn the seven-times platinum single, “Royals,” and quadruple-platinum follow up “Team.”
Tickets for the March 16 show at Gila River Arena are available at the box office, by phone at 800-745-3000, or online at gilariverarena.com .
