Loop 303 closures in effect this weekend for sensor installment project

West Valley drivers should plan for closures of parts of southbound Loop 303 beginning the night of Friday, Feb. 28 as work continues on a technology improvement project.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and use detours while the following closures are in place as crews install traffic flow sensors:

Southbound Loop 303 will be closed at Peoria Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday, Feb. 29. Freeway traffic will exit at the Peoria Avenue off-ramp and re-enter the freeway via the Peoria Avenue on-ramp.

West Valley drivers should plan for closures of parts of southbound Loop 303 beginning the night of Friday, Feb. 28 as work continues on a technology improvement project.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to expect delays and use detours while the following closures are in place as crews install traffic flow sensors:

Southbound Loop 303 will be closed at Peoria Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday, Feb. 29. Freeway traffic will exit at the Peoria Avenue off-ramp and re-enter the freeway via the Peoria Avenue on-ramp.

The westbound Northern Parkway connecting ramp to southbound Loop 303 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29. Northern Parkway traffic can exit at Sarival Avenue and travel southbound to Northern Avenue, then travel westbound on Northern Avenue and access Loop 303.

Southbound Loop 303 will be closed between US 60/Grand Avenue and Bell Road from 10 p.m. Saturday to noon Sunday, March 1. The US 60/Grand Avenue on-ramp to southbound Loop 303 will also be closed. Freeway traffic will exit at US 60/Grand Avenue and travel southeast to Reems Road, then travel southwest on Reems Road to westbound Bell Road and return to Loop 303 beyond the closure.
