The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for weeknight travel delays on eastbound Loop 202 while alternating lane closures are in place for pavement maintenance.

Eastbound Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway at Higley Road, eastbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway between Higley and Hawes roads, and westbound Loop 202 Santan Freeway at Power Road will be narrowed to one or two lanes nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, June 22, through the morning of Friday, July 2, according to a release.

No work will be done Saturday night, June 26.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors, the release states.

For more information, call the ADOT Bilingual Project Information Line at 855-712-8530 or go to azdot.gov/contact and select Projects from the drop-down menu. For real-time highway conditions statewide, go to ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter @ArizonaDOT or call 511, except while driving.
