Looking back on Ozzy Osbourne’s Arizona moments

From kicking off a Sabbath reunion tour in Phoenix to hanging with goats in Gilbert, the late icon passed through town quite a bit

Ozzy Osbourne, the self-proclaimed “Prince of Darkness,” always had a spot in his musical heart for sunny Arizona.

The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member, who along with Black Sabbath was celebrated at the much-ballyhooed Back to the Beginning daylong festival in England earlier this month, died Tuesday at age 76, his family announced.

“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” his family issued in a statement. “He was with his family and surrounded by love.”
