Lois Ilene Corpe Sobotka

Celebration of Life for - Lois Corpe SobotkaLois Ilene Corpe Sobotka was born July 6, 1939, in Julesburg, CO and died June 2, 2018 in Sun City West, AZ.Lois was the daughter of the late Orville and Anna Corpe. She is survived by her brother Larry Corpe, of Show Low, AZ and a niece, Marie Corpe Gaeddert of Pinckney, MI.Lois received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ and her Master of Arts from Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, AZ. She taught school and was a school psychologist. In 1979, she married the late Joseph Sobotka. Lois loved music and to play the piano. She was an active member of the Founders and Patriots of the United States, Daughters of the American Revolution, Sun City Elk's Club, Arrowhead Republican Club, and Desert Garden United Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 E. Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago, IL, 60611. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Desert Garden United Church of Christ, 18818 N. 128th Ave., Sun City West, AZ. Rev. Dr. Sam Sawitski officiating.
