Local casinos big part of many’s holiday season

The holidays are a season of giving, but those who patronize the Valley’s many casinos hope it’s also a time for receiving.

Gambling is big business in the Valley and it’s even bigger during the holiday season, according to casino spokespeople throughout the Valley.

Just like many other businesses that rely on the holiday season to carry them through the year, casinos consider it their bread and butter, according to Ramon Martinez, a spokesman for Talking Stick Casino.
