Rocker World & Curios may specialize in chair collections, but co-founder Mel Kay said the business takes a stand on access to high-quality materials.
Kay opened the store with his wife, Marilyn, more than 50 years ago in Chandler. Rocker World & Curios’s original store is a mile down the road from its current location. Mel and Marilyn first opened their doors in 1993 and the business is now a major supplier of rocking chairs, gliders and curio cabinets.
“We don’t just sell to people in Chandler,” Kay said. “We see people from Mesa, Buckeye, Peoria. We’ve had people come from all over to see what we offer because we have a large selection of options, larger than most.”
