Cantenn Rothwell was 9 when he learned that Todd, the man who had raised him, was not his biological father.

His parents were going through a divorce and Todd, who was seeking full custody of Cantenn, took a paternity test and learned the truth. The two never had a traditional father-and-son relationship after that. Now 35 and living in Mesa, Rothwell said he’d been seeking answers about his true identity ever since.

"I’ve wanted to do this for a long time,” he said. “I’ve wanted to know who my biological father was for about the last 25 years or so. I just kind of forgot about it for years. And I’ve kind of always thought about it, but it just was about time to take the leap.”
