Three Litchfield Elementary governing board members were absent Tuesday from a regular board meeting, nearly two weeks after board member Jeremy Hoenack said he’d resign at some point soon.
Hoenack announced it during a 10-minute resignation statement during a Sept. 12 meeting where he outlined he'll be moving to a new place.
"I will be leaving LESD when I move, if not sooner, and God help me if I can't get that place ready to move by the end of the year. Thank you for listening and not interrupting," he said.
