Litchfield Square opens roads in phase two of development

Posted

The Litchfield Square development is progressing with several streets now partially open providing a preview of the project’s progress.

The full opening of Desert and Honeysuckle, the southern portion of La Loma, and most of Litchfield Square Park was announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19, with completion of the park being expected in January 2025.

The road openings mark the completion of phase two in the city's  three phase opening plan.

Litchfield Square Park will feature an aviation-themed playground, landscaping, color-changing uplighting on palm trees, and other park amenities. The area is planned to hold community events such as the 2025 Spring Art & Wine Festival.

With streets opening, the park nearing completion, and new developments such as Heritage Place taking shape, Litchfield Square is poised to offer a mix of commercial, residential, and recreational spaces that reflect the City’s vision for a walkable, community-oriented environment.
