The Litchfield Elementary School District Superintendent announced via email sent out to parents that she would be stepping down from her role at the district after finishing out the remainder of the 2022-23 school year.
Jodi Gunning announced via the letter that she was stepping down after 21 years with the district. Her retirement would come following the end of this school year.
“With the last quarter of the ‘22-23 school year fast approaching, I would like to thank our entire LESD family and community for all their hard work and dedication in helping our students achieve educational success. So, after 21 years of dedicated service to LESD, it is with mixed feelings that I am announcing my retirement at the end of the current, ‘22-23, school year,” according to Gunning’s letter.
