The Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board has approved several key district and school leadership appointments ahead of the 2026–2027 school year, including the naming of a new Deputy Superintendent.
Dr. Jennifer Benjamin has been appointed as the Deputy Superintendent of Academic Success. A veteran member of the LESD79 leadership team, Benjamin previously served as the Assistant Superintendent of Programs and Instruction and as the Principal of Palm Valley Elementary School.
The district also announced that Aaron Gould, who currently serves as Assistant Principal at Western Sky Middle School, will step into the role of Principal at the school for the upcoming academic year.
