Lisa Borowsky will be next Scottsdale mayor

Lisa Borowsky will be the next mayor of Scottsdale.

While election results are still unofficial - the Maricopa County Recorder’s office hasn’t yet announced the final results of the Nov. 5 general election, and the Scottsdale City Council has yet to canvass those results - Borowsky has a commanding lead over incumbent David Ortega in the race for the mayor’s office.

As of 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 11, Borowsky held a margin of more than 11,000 votes over Ortega.
