Liner installed on Sun City lake bottom

Project on schedule to refill Aug. 4

The new bottom liner was installed at Viewpoint Lake for the first time.

Nearly all of the phase two area from Cameo Drive to Emerald and Kannapali points was completed by July 19. If progress goes as planned, the work will continue around to the phase one area to Lakeview Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd., then on to the phase three area behind the El Dorado Condominiums, 10330 W. Thunderbird Blvd.

It appears the project is on schedule to begin refilling the lake Friday, Aug. 4.
