Lindsay Road interchange nearing completion on Loop 202

Posted

Construction on the new Lindsay Road interchange on Loop 202-Santan Freeway is estimated to be complete by end of August or beginning of September.

Haydon Construction has received and installed the delayed concrete form liner for the freeway walls near the interchange. The Arizona Department of Transportation has approved Haydon's time extension.

The interchange is being built to provide access to Loop 202-Santan Freeway along with a frontage road system on the north side of Loop 202 between Lindsay and Gilbert roads.

Preconstruction started in October 2020 with ground broken in January 2021.

The $18.51 million project is being funded by the town of Gilbert, Maricopa Association of Governments and developer contributions.
