After a breakout sophomore season as park of Shadow Ridge softball’s underdog run in 2021, Allison Lindsay missed part of her junior year.
In January, it looked like the catcher might miss her entire senior year too. She injured her knee diving wrong into second base, and learned it was much more than a bruise.
Lindsay had meniscus clean up surgery and knew she could not catch this season, but was able to bring back her big bat. She returned March 23 and has five home runs in her first eight games back. The rest of the team has six home runs in 23 games.
