Linda Ruth Bartlett

Linda Ruth (Smith) Bartlett, 58Linda Ruth (Smith) Bartlett, 58, of Mesa, passed away suddenly June 19, 2008.Mrs. Bartlett, a teacher, was born in Torrington, Wyo. on Dec. 9, 1949 to F. Keith and Ruth Smith.She married U.S. Army Warrant Officer 1, James P. Bartlett on May 26, 1979.She began teaching at Skyline High School in East Mesa in the fall of 2000.She is survived by her husband, James P. Bartlett; sons, Michael (Marion) Bartlett of Buckeye, Ariz., Evan (Jennifer) Bartlett of Ft. Rucker, Ala.; parents, F. Keith and Ruth Smith of Mesa, Ariz; sister, Carol (John) Figurelli of Libertyville, Ill.; brother-in-law, William Bartlett of Hillsboro, Ore.; nephews, Eric (Melanie) Figurelli of Libertyville, Ill., Jason and (Sung) Figurelli of Chicago, Ill.Memorial services were held June 24, 2008. Mrs. Bartlett was cremated at the Apache Junction Mortuary and her ashes will be spread over the Superstition Mountains. A memorial scholarship fund has been established at Skyline High School.
