Library Friends board to meet March 9

The Friends of the Sun City Libraries will meet to discuss its various programs during its regular monthly board meeting.

The meeting is scheduled 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 9 in the North Wing Room at the Bell Branch Library at Bell Recreation Center, 16820 N. 99th Ave.

The Friends of the Sun City Libraries provide financial and material support to the two Sun City branches of the Maricopa County Library District that is not within the district's budget. The Friends also operate a number of community service programs, including Book Buddies, taking library materials to homebound residents.
