Libraries catch technology in Surprise

Interactive features make experience different these days

Any book lover who has browsed a local bookstore at one time or another has rejected buying a book because of the price.

The next logical step in the past would have been making a trip to the local library to see if that book was in circulation.

But the new Surprise Library System has a faster fix for all that, Surprise Arts, Culture and Library Director Kelsey Lamphier told the Surprise City Council earlier this month.
