When the Liberty track and field team reconvenes next February, the Lions again will be led by three-quarters of the Division I boys 4x400-meter champions.
However Jordon Guevara will prove tougher to replace in 2023 than even Joshua Anderson was in 2022.
Guevara finished his career with his second straight state runner-up finish in the Division I individual 400 meters May 14. Then, in the last event of the night, Guevara ran the anchor leg for Liberty, which won with a time of 3:18.94, besting nearby O’Connor — which finished in 3:19.34.
