Liberty Elementary schools in Buckeye, Goodyear switching to four-day school week

The Liberty Elementary School District announced this week that all schools under their district will switch to a four-day school week starting next year.

The district serves more than 4,500 students in grades K-8 in the Buckeye and Goodyear area.

District officials made the decision, according to a news release, “after months of research, community discussions and surveys.”
