LIBCON West – a haven for comics, anime, manga, science fiction, fantasy, and all things pop culture – is returning to Glendale.
The Glendale Main Library will transform from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. The celebration will feature a lineup of performers, cosplayers, kids’ crafts, and an array of vendors with unique merchandise.
Whether you're an avid comic book reader, anime enthusiast, gaming aficionado or just a fan of pop culture, the 7th annual LIBCON West offers something for everyone.
The event provides a platform to engage with artists, creators, and fellow fans, fostering an atmosphere of creativity, exploration, and appreciation for all pop culture. The event encourages residents to connect with like-minded individuals in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
"LIBCON West is a celebration of creativity, imagination and the diverse world of pop culture," Natalie Menges, Glendale administrative librarian, shared in a press release. "We're excited to bring this event back, offering an entertaining and engaging experience for our community. It's a day where fans can connect, share their passion and explore the wonderful world of comics, anime, gaming and so much more."
