LG Energy Solution will build $5.5B battery manufacturing complex in Queen Creek

South Korean company LG Energy Solution, a manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles, today announced it will invest a total of $5.5 billion to build a manufacturing complex in Queen Creek.

That’s nearly four times larger than the initially announced investment of $1.4 billion.
