Wow!
This number includes the well over 4 million who belong to the National Rifle Association.
Just think what would happen to a foolish outside invader. Slaughter. I think that this potential power of gun owners in this country is the basic reason that some of our, wannabe dictator, former governments were so frantically trying to take our guns from us ... they just couldn’t stand to know that all of the power they wield pales in comparative strength, if push ever came to shove that is. Our Second Amendment right to bear arms is so very important that it is second only to the First Amendment, which assures our freedom of speech.

There are a total of 27 amendments to our Constitution, of which the first 10 are called the Bill Of Rights. Our Constitution was somewhat fashioned after the Magna Carta of England.
The Magna Carta came into existence to combat their tyrannical, dictatorial, cruel and abusive government.
I have little doubt that, after sipping from the cup of unchecked power, that our own government eventually would become tyrannical to its people also.
Then the revolution cycle would have to start all over again, in one form or another.
