This is a call for us to call/email and ask our House representatives to do the job we, the people, elected then to do. Which is to pass a budget so the
government can function.
It is not unreasonable for us to expect this from elected officials. With another shutdown looming and the House in chaos, I want to be sure our representatives know that a functioning government is a requirement from most of us.
This will require working with each other within Congress and with people within Congress who may not share their views. And this is OK. Here’s to the next 40 something days being productive in our Congress.
