A lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. Proudly served his country during WW2 in the US Navy. Lester was a 12 year Veteran of the Sun City West Sheriff's Posse and community volunteer. Lester is survived by his wife of 49 3/4 years, Mary Alice; three sons, Dennis, Kevin (Karen), and Michael; three grandsons, US Army Captain Dennis M., Captain Sean M., and Kevin Sean; along with granddaughter, Kelly Jean; and great-granddaughter, Emilea Auburn. Interment was private at the National Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona. A special "thank you" to Hospice of Arizona.
