Leshinskie begins tenure as Scottsdale Community College’s new president

MCCCD veteran aims to focus on growing enrollment, workforce development

Eric Leshinskie has taken over the helm of Scottsdale Community College, joining a short list of those who have been president of the school.

Leshinskie officially began as SCC’s president on July 5, and is getting his feet wet before students and faculty begin the fall semester in August.

“It’s been about three weeks in the position, and so far so good,” Leshinskie said. “It’s been a wonderful get-to-know-you from the campus perspective, to learn even more about the campus and culture and to see what we can do in the future to advance the institution and help our community.”
