Legislative District 27 Republican Party 'censures' 3 Peoria Unified board members

Issue stems from failed transgender policy regarding bathrooms

It appears the Legislative District 27 Republican Party has censured three members of the Peoria Unified governing board for what they say are “harmful actions” to the girls of the district.

At the May 22 school board meeting during the public comment section, a woman who claimed to represent Legislative District 27 Republican Party, speaking in place of Jerry Vance, read their censure resolution.

However, Peoria Independent reached out to several members of the political group for confirmation and none responded.
