Legacy Traditional Schools recently announced Russell Sperati, principal of its Chandler campus, as the 2023 Patrick Grady Principal of the Year.

Sperati was recognized by his peers and colleagues for his exceptional contributions to student and school success at a ceremony held on May 3.

The award was established in memory of the school’s former superintendent, who passed away in 2021.

“Russell is a shining example of the leadership we look for in our schools,” said Mia Vega, Superintendent. “He has created a culture of excellence and support at Legacy Traditional School – Chandler, and his students and staff are thriving under his guidance. We are proud to have Mr. Sperati leading our Chandler campus.”

During the ceremony, colleagues and Legacy staff praised Sperati’s dedication and leadership, noting his support and commitment to fostering a strong school culture.
