Florence Makes a Difference Day is coming up and individuals, organizations and companies can still discuss project ideas and other coordination activities.
If you missed the kick-off meeting in September, you have another chance to learn how you can make a difference.
A follow-up meeting is taking place starting at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Viney Jones Library and Community Center, 778 N. Main St., according to a post on the town of Florence Facebook page.
Florence Makes a Difference Day provides residents and volunteers with an opportunity to take part in local clean-up and beautification projects, the town stated in a Facebook posting. Projects could include cleaning, painting, collecting litter, digging, planting and more.
If you cannot make the Oct. 11 meeting, you may register for the day by clicking on one of the following links below to receive information on how you can help.
