A pre-legislative session breakfast held late last week in Chandler focused on the local economy — sort of.
With a few forays into national or state politics, federal, state, county and local officials spoke briefly about their 2024 priorities at the Meet the Elected Officials Breakfast on Jan. 5 at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
The main presenter at the event, hosted by the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, talked politics as well, noting how many 2024 primaries and general election races are likely to be extremely close and intense.
