The Legislative District 29 Republicans are now on the list of groups sanctioning Surprise City Councilmember Aly Cline during this election season.
Cline, who is running for mayor in the July 30 primary election, has been removed as precinct committeeman for the LD29 Republicans after members discovered Cline had donated to several Democrats during the 2018 and 2020 election cycles.
The group’s executive board detailed donations to the Friends of Bernie Sanders and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2018, Mark Kelly for Senate in 2019 and even U.S. Senate races for Rafael Warnock and Jon Ossoff for in Georgia in 2020.
