Laverne F. Paradise, 73Laverne F. Paradise, 73, passed away on Sept. 23 in Surprise. She was born Nov. 19, 1933 in Dane, Wis. She was a customer service clerk in the insurance industry for 11 years and an Avon salesperson for 15 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sun City West, and served on the Bowling Association Board of Directors for 3 years. Laverne retired in May 1993 and moved to Arizona from Madison, Wisconsin. She is survived by her daughter, two sisters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Sept. 29 at the First Baptist Church of Sun City West, 17149 Conquistador Drive. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix 85014.
