SUN CITY - Lavern "Vern" G. Trausch passed away on Dec. 23, 2016. He is survived by his son, Mike (Vickie), of Peoria; step-sons, Merle (Jacki) Jones, of Sun City and Doug (Treasa) Jones, of Vancouver, Wash.; his sister, Susan (Harry) Thaut, of Hastings, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. with rosary. Funeral mass will be held the next day, Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 W. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, interment to follow at Sunland Memorial Park also in Sun City. Condolences may be offered to Vern's family by visiting www.sunlandmemorial.com.
