Arizona tax credit laws offer beneficial ways to end the holiday season

One way to get back and give back at the same time is to make a charitable donation during the holiday season.

An Arizona tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in state taxes that are owed. In general, if you make a tax credit contribution and you owe on your state taxes, in most cases, the amount of your tax credit contribution will be deducted from your tax bill.

One way to do this is to take advantage of the Arizona state tax credit for public schools, which allows taxpayers to donate to a child’s K-12 extracurricular expenses and receive a dollar-for-dollar reduction on your state income taxes.
