Many residents are distressed to read opinions regarding presidents and ex-presidents in a newspaper dealing with local issues. Please stop publishing these opinion letters. It would be far more beneficial to publish letters regarding the best Hawaiian island to visit, best cruise line, favorite method to clean teeth, anything but presidential politics. Letters on favorite vegetables to eat would be more useful.
Actually, how about only letters regarding local issues in our community. Please, less presidential politics and more letters offering useful advice and opinions. You are needlessly angering many of your readers.
