Lane: Golf should be self-sufficient in RCSC budget
Posted
By Aaron Lane | Sun City
With the recent proposed budget release from the Recreation Centers of Sun City, they are including another yearly increase of $50. As always, the big money pit is golf, and it is now revealed the courses need millions for upgrades. It is patently wrong for less than 20% of Sun City to play golf at the expense of the rest of us, and the RCSC has failed, in my opinion, to do it’s fiduciary duty to the membership as a whole. Golf was designed to be self sufficient, was self sufficient for years, and it is time for that to happen again.
