The results are clear. In practically every major distance race gathering Arizona’s best runners, Millennium senior Landen LeBlond wins — or she is not able to finish the race.
Lately she has crossed the finish line first more, and been able to enjoy it better. In November, she posted the fastest time of any girl in the state while winning the Division II cross country title.
Now the University of Oregon-bound distance runner is preparing for two more challenges on the track, at the all division state track meet May 10-11 at Mesa Community College.
