Land in Queen Creek rezoned for townhomes

A proposal to rezone land for a townhome development was unanimously approved by the Queen Creek Planning & Zoning Commission.

Greg Davis of iPlan Consulting asked the commission at its Wednesday, May 10 meeting to rezone 16.5 acres located at the northeast corner of Sossaman and Rittenhouse roads from commercial to medium-density residential to develop Rittenhouse Commons 2, a 166-lot, single-family townhome development.
