As the county continues to process votes for the Nov. 7 election, initial results point to voters approving Kyrene School District’s bond and override, even with calls from the Arizona GOP to vote no on bond measures.
In a social media post from Nov. 7, the party urged Arizona voters to stand for “accountable, efficient government” by voting against tax increases for local bond funding.
“Today’s vote is crucial. School bonds & overrides equal more tax burdens for us all. It’s time for responsible spending, not reckless taxing,” it wrote.
