Kyrene governing board discusses $221M budget for next school year

The Kyrene Governing Board discussed and approved the 2026-27 proposed budget on June 23.

Chris Hermann, chief financial officer for the district, presented the budget of $221 million in expenditures for the 2026-27 to the governing board on Tuesday night at the board meeting

Per state guidelines, school districts must adopt a budget and submit it to the state by July 15 to receive state funding.
